We are glad to see that you are interested in becoming a sister of Phi Sigma Rho Sorority! In order to be a sister, one must:

Be a female currently enrolled at The University of Houston

Be majoring in Engineering or Engineering Technology

Have a GPA of 2.0 or higher

Attend a minimum of 1 RUSH event ( Events/Rush )

Receive a Bid and respond within 24 hrs by email

Attend the Induction Ceremony

Pay $75.00 Dues

Attend Drug Awareness

Attend Education Meetings (1hr a week)

Attend the Initiation Ceremony

Education Meetings are held for 1 hour, once a week, over a period of eight to nine weeks. Once one has completed her Education, she will then be initiated and able to attend the Chapter Meetings. Phi Rho tries to avoid Chapter Meetings during Finals.

Phi Sigma Rho is a great way to build a lifetime of friendship, leadership, organizational skills, time management, and much more than one can imagine! Becoming a sister is a commitment. It is a sisterhood. Once a sister, always a sister. One will find herself happy and satisfied with her decision in choosing to become a sister of Phi Sigma Rho because of all the benifits of the sisterhood.
