What happens if I accept my bid?
|
Each pledge class has a different Greek letter depending on what semester they were inducted.
| Becoming a pledge is an exciting step towards sisterhood. This is a no-risk time for you to learn more about our sorority and how you will fit into it. This will also give you an estimate of the time commitment required of being a sister.
If you choose to accept your bid, once you have been officially inducted you become a pledge of Phi Sigma Rho and begin your membership education period. During membership education you will attend one membership education meeting for one hour once a week for about 8-9 weeks. During this time you will get to know your pledge class and learn about the history and ideals of Phi Sigma Rho. You will also be required to attend a Drug Awareness session, a three hour lock in with the pledge class, complete a community service project of three hours, and host a social event. You will also be required to pay National Registration fees totaling to under $125 a semester. After all of this has been completed you are eligible to become initiated into a full sister. If at any time you decide Phi Sigma Rho is not right for you you are free to withdraw at any time and receive a refund if you have paid National Dues. |
